All of our bread is naturally leavened with wild-caught sourdough starter. No commercial yeast or “sourdough flavour” is used.

In general, our bread is composed of three ingredients: flour, water, and salt, with added ingredients such as seeds, oils, fruits, etc. We source organic, unmodified white (unbleached) flour from Meuniere Milanaise in Saint Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, and whole grains grown on small farms in Ontario and milled by K2 Milling in Bradford, Ontario.

Sourdough bread takes three days to completion. Due to this extended process, orders must be submitted at least one day before pickup. Day-of orders cannot be guaranteed to be filled. Please specify the quantity of loaves you’d like.

If you would like to order more than four loaves at a time, order with at least three days notice.

All of our baked goods are prepared from scratch in house. We require one day’s notice for all of these items. Please order in quantities of 6 or 12; please specify the quantity you’d like.

Daily Bread

Tuesdays / Sesame Spelt - 40% spelt loaf with sesame seed in the dough and all over the crust. Fix it like a bagel, you won’t be disappointed.

Wednesdays / Marbled Rye - this is your sign to stock up on smoked meat and sauerkraut. Light rye sourdough spiked with caraway and fennel seeds, half of which is enriched with cocoa and molasses, then swirled for an exciting loaf to cut into.

Thursdays / Red Fife - 40% red fife flour and 60% unmodified winter wheat flour boule. Red fife is a heritage grain with earthy, spiced flavours. Our red fife loaf is a versatile loaf that can be for everything from sandwiches to croutons.

Fridays / Multigrain Sandwich Loaf - 50% mixed rye, spelt, and whole wheat, and 50% organic winter wheat, with a bit o’ butter. Fragrant and soft, this is a whole grain upgrade to your everyday sandwiches.

Saturdays / Classic Sandwich Loaf - this 100% organic winter wheat pan loaf is softened with butter and baked in a pan for the classic feel of your favourite white bread, but with all the benefits that com along with sourdough and quality ingredients. Ideal for most sandwiches or morning toast.

Every Day / Country Loaf - an all around crowd pleaser!

Weekend Bread Specials

June 6/7: Currant and Fennel

Poppy seeds, fennel seeds, and lil currants in mixed into our country loaf, with a poppyseed crust.

June 13/14: Jalapeño Jack

10% spelt sourdough with chunks of Monterey Jack cheese and pickled jalapeños.

June 20/21: Apricot and Lavender

20% kamut loaf with plump dried apricots and fresh lavender buds.

June 27/28: Potato Loaf

Roasted Yukon Golds and roasted garlic in country loaf with lots of fresh rosemary throughout.

Baked Goods

Cookies - chocolate chip / ginger / peanut butter and jam (gf) / lime sumac snickerdoodles / rhubarb and white chocolate / mixed box

Scones - blueberry / red currant and sumac / fruit and nut (milk chocolate, hazelnut, raisin)
